Your level of exercise and health go hand in hand for many reasons. Exercising can increase the HDL or good cholesterol in your body. If this were the only benefit of exercising it would be well worth it. Heart disease is the number one killer in the world today and people would exercise on a regular basis their health would improve greatly. Fitness levels are at an all time low in the United States. Health and fitness are becoming rare for many families which is leading to an increase in obesity and more deaths from health related issues.
Fitness exercises are one way of getting into better shape but a very important role is that of nutrition. People are simply eating too much fat in their diets and therefore they are becoming obese at an alarming rate. People buy home fitness exercise equipment and then put it in the corner of a room until it gathers dust and then put it up for sale at a garage sale a couple years later.
Diet plays such huge role in weight loss. To have a healthy weight loss you need to change the way you eat food permanently. You can’t simple go on and off diets or do yo-yo diets for the rest of your life. That is exactly what Oprah does and look at her! She has been fat and then skinny tons of times. She only does fad diets and they don’t work.

Protein shakes for women are a good thing. Don’t think that you will bulk up just because you drink protein. They make protein powder for women and men. It’s simple, you go to the gym and workout and then go home and get really hungry from your great workout so you eat a bunch of food. If you drink a protein shake you will fill your stomach up with something less fattening that what you would have eaten. Protein and exercise go hand in hand.
