Women Protein and Exercise

There are many women that stay away from lifting weights and or taking protein supplements because they think they will bulk up. Women will not bulk up if they lift weights or drink protein shakes. Guys that trying to bulk are lifting weights that much heavier than a woman could lift and they try for years to try bulking up.

There are protein shakes for women that are essentially they same as for men. The human body needs protein to repair itself. Protein and exercise go hand in hand.  If you are trying to focus on exercise and health you need to make sure you are providing your body with the proper amount of nutrients.  Exercise health fitness and nutrition are key factors to a longer life.

I recommend taking whey protein for women immediately after a workout.  When you get done working out your body is trying to repair the muscle that you just broke down.  This is why it’s good to have some quick protein powder for women to consume easily after a workout.

Best Protein for Women

I strongly recommend a protein that you will enjoy.  The best tasting protein powder I have found is by optimum nutrition and it’s milk chocolate.  This protein tastes like chocolate milk.  Make sure you stay away from weight gainer protein powders such as muscle milk.  You want straight whey protein and nothing else.
There is a brand that focuses on being the best protein shake for women that is called aria womens protein. I personally have never tried the Aria brand so I don’t know how good it tastes. It has been my personal experience that you must get a protein supplement that is enjoyable. Some of them are just disgusting and you will never drink them.

I would also recommend protein bars for women but it’s even harder to find ones that you will want to consume.
